The opening photo was supplied by the girl and was not usable. The lighting was bad and she had a white shirt on in front of white wall. I had to create a custom collage adding colors and patterns to make the photo work.
I found this great stock photo and added another stock photo of smoke to create extra drama needed. The smoke was purposely put in front of the copy to add more reality.
Girls' Life Magazine
Girls' Life is a national magazine for girls age between 10 to 15. The magazine started with 300 local subscription, quickly grew to become a publication with an almost half a million subscription and still going strong as of 2019. The magazine can be found in major bookstores and online.
Girls' Life has received multiple Parent's Choice Awards and Parent's Guide to Children's Media Awards. Also garnered Addy Awards Gold 2013 in Photography for one of its fashion stories.
